  A Season of Praise: Turkey Trot Thanksgiving Dinner & Hanging of the Green Worship Service
  Join us for our traditional church-wide Thanksgiving meal known as “Turkey Trot” on Sunday, November 24 immediately following the 10:45 a.m. Worship Service. That same evening, we will have a very sacred Hanging of the Green service at 6 p.m. After the completion of the Turkey Trot Thanksgiving feast, we will begin the transformation of the church and sanctuary from the "Season of Thanks" to the "Season of Advent" and get ready for the Hanging of the Green Worship service that evening.
  
  A Season of Praise & Thanks Begins at VUMC!
  A Season of Praise & Thanks is beginning at Varnell United Methodist Church in October through Thanksgiving. Every Sunday, "leaves of thanks" will be included in your bulletin for you to write your blessing on and place on the tree upfront. It will be a holy and blessed time to remember God's perfect blessings in your life.
